Books are coming home....

Old books coming home....
Thank you to every one for bringing in your library books, some have been away for over a year, so it is nice to have them back again!!!!Laughing
There are still a few more books to come back, I hold out hope that all will return by the end of the week Smile
Remember if you think you have returned a book, please come and see me and we can look together - sometimes they find their own way onto the shelves before saying hello to the computer and letting it know they are back Wink
If students have lost a book, they are asked to pay the cost - so make sure they look everywhere including their classroom!!
Remember :Stocktake starts Monday- wish me luck - it's my first oneSurprised!

New books finding a home.....
I also took advantage of the Scholastic Big Warehouse sale and free picks from the catalogue to choose some new books for the library. These include some old favourites and some that may become new favourites - I don't think you can have too many favourite books!!! Some titles include:

  • extra copies of Diary of a Wimpy Kid [they are always on loan!]
  • the Roald Dahl Collection [some of our copies are sooo well read they really shouldn't be repaired again!!!]
  • more books in the 39 Clues series
  • January to July in the Conspiracy 365 series [[they didn't have August to December!]
  • Bear and Chook by the Sea
  • more books in the Mates series - very popular with year 1 & 2
  • 14 books in the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series [it was an absolute bargain!!!]
There are lots more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head! I will give a few more titles when I write again - or look out for the "new releases" on the shelves next year!
